Team Lead Finley Nakatsu joined the SailGP team Inspire Careers program, traveling to Abu Dhabi to support Team Canada’s Shore Team

Halifax SailGP
June 1-2, 2024
Team members Finley and Anneka joined the Halifax SailGP team, providing technical tours of the teams facilities, and were apart of the “Hype Crew” Team. Team members Jordan and Hailey were selected to participate in the Inspire Waszp program, sailing alongside the infamous F-50's during the race week.

Mari-Tech 2024

Force 7 Sailing is presenting alongside the student design hub at the 2024 Mari-Tech Conference and Exhibition hosted in St. John’s NL. Mari-Tech is an annual marine technology conference created by the Canadian Institute of Marine Engineering (CIMarE) in 1976. The conference promotes the collaboration of academia, the private sector, and government by fostering a neutral, non-political environment for advancement. Our team is beyond excited to present our views on this year’s theme “Navigating Sustainable Marine Transportation” and how we continue to promote the utilization of sustainable solutions in our moth design. Join us at 1:00 pm on May 15th at the St. John’s Convention Center as we present “Foiling on Seas of Sustainability” a subsection of the “Next-Gen Creative Builders, Thinkers and Leaders of the Marine Tech Industry - Marine Tech Related Design Teams at the Student Design Hub (Memorial University)” technical session.
SDH Showcase 2024

The SDH Showcase is an evening of technical presentations and networking, hosted by the Student Design Hub at Memorial University. Student Design teams are given the opportunity to pitch their project to potential sponsors and industry supporters. Force 7 Sailing was awarded the “Best in Show Award”, sponsored by Colab.
